Triple renal arteries and retro aortic left renal vein -a case report
Abstract
The renal arteries take origin from the lateral aspect of aorta little below the origin of superior mesenteric artery at the level of L2 vertebra. During routine dissection of an elderly female cadaver aged 60 years triple renal arteries & retro aortic left renal vein was found. The comprehensive knowledge of the renal arterial pattern which remains as the key issue in determining the technical feasibility of surgical interventions as well as the post operative management.
