The status of teachers from the upper Spis region in the 9th century The case of Johann Still, theacher at the elementary school
Abstract
Education in Slovakia has a long history and its beginning goes back to the 9th century. In our paper we pay attention to a specific situation of a primary level of schools in the area of upper Spiš region in the 19th century and to status of a teacher in elementary school.
