Analysis correlation livelihood diversification strategies with the management of agricultural lands (rural areas in Poledokhtar County)

Abstract

This study examines the diversity of livelihood strategies and their relationship with management Shyvh‌ agricultural land. The aim of the present study, the analytical method is applied. Inventory data collection instrument (structured and unstructured) interviews with the local people. The population consisted of heads of households in the city Poldokhtar is the farmer (11289N =). Using Cochran formula and simple random sampling method, 379 heads of households was agriculture. To analyze the relationship between livelihood diversification and management of agricultural lands econometric model Tobit model was used. The results showed that the Herfindahl-Hirschman livelihood diversification measured by the index variation has a significant positive effect on sustainable land management activities. The findings also showed that the number of workers and family-owned Khanvrhayy on agricultural lands and agricultural activities involved with non-farm employment Drfalyt‌Hay or a combination of activities, significantly from practices more use of land management, which in turn also increases the diversity of living for them. It can be said that integrated rural livelihoods and land management strategies can jointly increase in subsistence farming and land management practices help more.
