Abstract
This article questions the configuration of the Cameroonian literary production field since the advent of democracy from a socio-descriptive perspective. It problematizes on how the book production environment occurs, while postulating that it is a context characterised by entries and exits in the field of production instances. Thus, by analysing the various movements that have taken place at the centre of this production environment, with in particular the exit of former book authorities from the scene or their softness, but above all the entry of new ones, it shows that this framework has undergone deep changes, plural changes which, in short, make the year 1990 a time of rupture and renewal of the Cameroonian national literary scene requiring further critical explorations.
