Floristic rising of the north hillside of the floristic managed reserve mountain of Pico Chico
Abstract
The present work was carried out in the Floristic Reserve Managed in Pico Chico mountain, with the objective of determining flora and vegetation keeping in mind such aspects as floristic relationships, the families better represented as biological types, texture, and size of the leaves, endemism and threatened flora. For that reason, there were carried out field expeditions, there were lifted parcels of 20 x 20 in the three ecotopos, base, wall and summit. There was determined existing diversity in the flora of 92 species that are distributed in 79 goods and 39 families. Many of them are endemic, including 8 distritales. The morphologic characteristics of the vegetation indicate a prevalence of fanerofitas or trees to which can be made in their appropriate moment a rational use. The mogote Pico Chico represents an important area to study the flora and vegetation based on its physical-geographical conditions that we can find on this elevation.
