The article actualizes the theoretical substantiation of socio-personal and socio-behavioral features of personal competence. The author attempts to identify the specifics of the content and structural characteristics of social competence in order to substantiate the social foundations of the competence of the individual and the formulation of the relevant tasks of vocational training at the University.
