Determining the level of anxiety in patients with COVID-19
Abstract
In November 2019, a novel coronavirus infection, COVID-19, caused by SARS-CoV-2, was first reported. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization announced the beginning of a pandemic that has affected almost all areas of our daily lives, provoking a parallel epidemic of anxiety and depressive reactions. Against the backdrop of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the topic of mental well-being remains one of the most relevant and acute in the public health and healthcare system. Due to the wide spread of a new coronavirus infection, its high contagiousness and neurotoxicity, even those who have never previously complained to doctors in this medical industry are at risk of mental health problems.
