Abstract

The entrance of modernization to indigenous peoples has allowed a modification of the identity of the young indigenous because being in contact with new realities is rebuilding and resignifying the idea of their being as individuals who are affected by globalization and the impact of this has in their communities and in themselves. Thus, acculturation makes possible the acquisition, apprehension of new cultural forms, among them the music that is has become a counterculture movement that puts te dominant culture in tension.
