This work aims to study the depth of water table of N'zo watershed. The methodology is based on the WTR model or water table ratio which can make difference between topography-controlled water tables (shallow water tables) and recharge-controlled water tables (deeper water tables). The parameters of this model are used in the form of thematic maps which are converted in raster, and the calculations are performed for individual pixels. The results indicate that the water tables are shallow throughout the study watershed because they are controlled by topography. However, some a little less superficial water tables appear in fragmented form at the mountainous area located in the north of study zone. These results were validated by examining the correlations between the calculated water table ratios (WTR) and water table depth measurements. Correlation studies have shown that the water table ratios (WTR) are inversely proportional to the water table depth.
