Analysis of Financial Intermediation in Romania

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the degree of financial intermediation in Romania. At thesame time it comprises an analysis of the three indicators which show the degree of financialintermediation in Romania: credits/GDP; deposits/GDP; bank assets/GDP for the period 2004-2015. We want to study the relation between the three indicators that define financialintermediation with the help of the correlation coefficient.
