Current trends of reconstructive surgery of traumatic damages of anterior segment of the eye (a literature review)

Abstract

ABSTRACT In a review article the current state of a problem of surgical treatment of combined traumatic damages of an anterior segment of the eyeball is analyzed. Principles of the optic — reconstructive interventions directed on restoration of normal anatomic and topographical correlations in the injured eye are considered in detail, as well as the main methods of an artificial masking: extraocular, corneal, intraocular.
