In Greece, during the first postwar period, similarly to what happened in Italy and Germany, a new way of understanding the relationships among State, economy and society appeared: the so-called “authoritarian” corporatism. The fall of the political liberalism in the hellenic country came with a deep crisis in the certainties about solidity and utility of economic liberties which derived in the establishment of the Kondylis and Metaxas dictatorships, who are the supporters of the greek government control. This paper wants to analyze, through the normative innovations and the attempts of interventions in the hellenic productive system, how the public authorities have tried to aligned themselves with the control government manners which evolved and established in the rest of Europe.
