Les sacs à procès du parlement de Flandre : constitution et conservation d’une source exceptionnelle
Abstract
The Departmental Archives of the North keep in the sub-series 8B1 the contents of the bags of the procedures of the sovereign court of Flanders (Sovereign Council then Parliament). The legal analysis of 30,000 articles in this collection was initiated by the Center for Judicial History, which encountered the results of the recounts online in a database : http://parleflandre.univ-lille2.fr/. However, undertaking an analysis of the procedural files leaves the question of the constitution of these bags at the time of the trial, but also that of their conservation after the judicial phase. The interest of the general press, even social networks for a bag found closed since 1730 in the fund shows that the question arouses, at least, the curiosity of our contemporaries and deserves a light that this article will try to bring.
