THE PHENOTHIAZINE COMPOUND ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY

Abstract

The influence of phenothiazine compounds on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli was studied. The efficiency of these compounds after light pre-activation as to E. coli exceeded the methylene blue activity level. S. aureus was resistant to the action of phenothiazine derivatives both under the dark conditions and in photoinactivation presence.
