Hematopoietic injury treatment is one of the main challenges in the treatment of radiation damage. In the face of mass casualty, how to make prompt and accurate diagnosis and evaluation for hematopoietic damage and then reconstitute hematopoiesis is of great significance to maintain the national nuclear safety and strengthen military medical support. We formulated this Expert Consensus on Hematopoietic Reconstruction Strategy After Radiation Injury through literature retrieval and evaluation, expert group discussion, and suggestions from the experts of our 2 professional committees. The expert consensus includes 4 parts as follow: scope of application, diagnosis and evaluation of radiation damage to hematopoietic system, hematopoietic reconstruction strategy for radiation injury, and perspective. This consensus formulates treatment strategies for hematopoietic damage caused by nuclear radiation, and provides guidance and reference for nuclear radiation damage treatment and military medical support.
