Abstract
The essay examines the events that led within a year, from 17th February to 17th December 1992, the Italian Socialist Party, and its leader Craxi, to become the party most associated with the bribes. This process was a joint mechanism that saw some newspapers and television broadcast take positions against parties, in particular Craxi, that reacted in defense of the entire system.
