Student's qualification intercultural communication abilities are mostly oriented on taking into consideration the national specifics in contacting cultures. Such orientation responds to the quintessence of the newest scientific research both in the civilization theory and the theory of languages and cultures. Presentation of the material provided at such an angle during the lessons on translating as a means of mutual intercultural understanding and the subject of study is based on the assumption of the uniqueness of each communicative event as well as on the essential ambiguity of a language which emerges while creating and interpreting messages during an act of communication.
