The fictitious capital and the eff ects of the overexploitation of labour in contemporary societies
Abstract
Nowadays, one of the main structural trend in the capitalist system is that fictious capital is becoming the hegemonic form of capital over the others forms (monetary capital, productive capital and commercial capital). The hegemony of the fictitious capital can explain: 1) the unstable rates of economic growth in international economic system as a whole as well as in regions such the European Union, United States and Japan (with exception of China and India); and 2) the low level of the productive investments, because the capital has been directed to banks and stock exchange in imperialist countries, instead of being canalized for the economic growth and generation of job.
