GRAVITY CENTERS DETERMINATION OF INFORMATION INFRASTRUCTURE OBJECTS

Abstract

This article describes the importance of impact implementation by militant elements on the key (critical) elements of the enemy, which, in turn, disrupts their normal functioning and impacts on functioning the whole enemy combat system in the war. As an influence instrument, according to the recent and today’s conflicts experience, the actuality of Special Forces sharing together with information and psychological operations units was showed. The impact (influence) objects of mutual use of special and information-psychological operations forces are complex organizational and technical structures that include both staff (personal), and high-tech hardware. Upon that the impact tasks will not be only physical destruction of something for the purpose of object expulsion from the operation process. The impact purpose by special and information-psychological operations units is to changing the object’s order and functioning procedures for the purpose of using it for own purposes, especially for achieving own information advantage over the enemy. Taking into account the limited impact resource, in this case the actual task is determination of the key elements of impact (influence) object for the purpose of their seizure (destruction, disabling, involving in the work). In particular, the article describes the procedure, which will determine the key (critical) elements (gravity centers) of the enemy according to the elements number of the information object infrastructure and the links between these elements for further impact on them by special and information-psychological operations units.
