Enterprose Resource Planing System- an Annlysis from Worksystem Viewpoint

Abstract

Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) describe an information system intergrating all business proccesses with the purpose of optimizing enterprise resources and information processing. Due to obvious benefits, ERP system have been deployed over the world as well as developing a trend in Vietnam.The “work system” aspect has been applied by various socio-technical researchers and practitioners as a tool to model a “system” (such as a project, an information system or an enterprise system) which requires the cooperation of human factors, equipments, infrastructures to create a product or a service for internal and/or external users.Through the article, the authors apply the “work system” concept to anlayze and evaluate the ERP system in terms of system impletiontation and go-live.
