Abstract

Dental health personnels are in high-risk position to get injury due to dental instrument accident during dental practice. So, this is important for dental health personnel to know how to manage properly and having guidelines for this situation. Accidental management protocol is a part of “Universal Precaution”, or a part of infection control management, in order reducing the possibility of disease exposure from patient. This article reviews a practical guidelines for dental health personnel how to manage injuries caused by dental instrument during practice.
