In the las few decades critical attention has been brought upon the Antwerp sequel to Lazarillo (1555) with a growing number of studies that approach the text in a more positive manner especially as regards the interpretation of the original work. In its composition can be found divers stimuli: Menipean satyre and the novel of metamorphosis, the parodic narrative schema of romances of chivalry. Amognst these diverse currents, and running close to a composition marked by generic hybridism, the present study pffers an Odysseic narrative schema.
