Method for Calculation of Electromagnetic Parameters of Vertical Grounding Electrodes at Lightning Surge Current Flowing

Abstract

An approach for calculation of electromagnetic parameters of vertical grounding electrode based on solving transient equations with the help of an operational method is proposed in the paper. A program for calculation of surge parameters is developed. Applicability of the method is confirmed by numerical calculations for harmonic currents of various frequency.
