The new educational scenarios are characterized by the use of technologies and the boom of virtual learning environments. This article is the result of a qualitative-quantitative research in the context of the teaching-learning process of Geometry in virtual environments in the career of Mathematics Education at the University of Pinar del Río, Cuba; the use of research methods of the theoretical, empirical and statistical level showed limitations in the formation and assimilation of spatial geometric concepts by professionals in training. The main objective is to propose methodological actions for the treatment of concepts with the purpose of dynamizing the teaching of Geometry. The study concludes that the use of virtual environments for the treatment of concepts contributes to the development of visualization and spatial location, allows an active participation in the construction of the knowledge that the professional must transmit in the exercise of his profession.
