PRIORITIES OF IMPORT SUBSTITUTION IN SEZ: BIOPHARMACEUTICS

Abstract

The Russia's pharmaceutical market is one of the most oriented on imported products. In particular, dependence of domestic insulin market from foreign production is now higher than 90%. The Western sanctions against Russia create a serious threat of the relevant drugs shortage. These conditions give the priority to the development of domestic biopharmaceutic technologies especially in SEZ.
