Argentina has abundant gas and renewable energy resources. Challenged with social and environmental questions, the country favors their exploitation. In this way, it extends the gas and electricity networks betting on distributed production. This work aims at showing the multi-vector character of the Argentine energy transition. The valuation of local resources defines a new energy geography leading to regional specialization. Argentine thus seeks to strengthen energy services, social inclusion and territorial autonomy, paving the way for sustainability.
