Mechanical model of magnetorheological(MR) fluid dampers is the basis of structure control of MR fluid dampers. For the Bingham mechanical model of MR fluid dampers, the shear strain rate is processed by fractional differential, a fractional order Bingham mechanical model of MR fluid dampers is proposed and used for image denoising, and a fractional order Bingham image denosing model is derived with definitions of fractional order edge detection operator and numerical implementation. Finally, the algorithm is used to denoise the synthetic image and the Lena image. MATLAB experimental results show that the algorithm can remove noise and preserve edges of object simultaneously.
