The Berlin Wall and the discontinuity of history. An essay from Otoño alemán, by Liliana Villanueva
Abstract
In Otoño alemán, Liliana Villanueva narrates her life in Berlin, between the late '80s and early '90s. From all those years, she focuses on her experience as a witness of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The purpose of this text is to describe the way in which her writing is carried out, considering that Otoño alemán proposes an important contribution to think about issues such as history, time, modernity and postmodernity.
