The transformations that have taken place in the last decade import for the current conjuncture a scenario provided with innumerable transformations that go from the technological settlement to its proportions of appropriation in the social context. Thus, information and communication technologies could move forward expressively and break down both physical and geographical barriers in order to offer new possibilities through an interconnected action: the networks. This notion is also linked to the context of education, and, consequently, to the information units, such as the libraries. The overall objetive of this study was to understand how human, financial, physical and informational resources are structured in school libraries network. Data collection was carried out via an interview applied to the coordinator of a school library network from São Paulo. The methodology used qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory approaches. Content Analysis was used as a research method and its thematic analysis technique was undertaken to attain the research proposal. Findings were: a) work in network requires inputs of the most varied nature to guarantee the offer of products and information services; b) a school libraries network promotes a balanced development of the networked information units.
