Leonov’s art world in introductory episode ( Yakimova L. P. Introducrory episode as structure element of Leonov’s poetic. – Novosibirsk, 2012)

Abstract

The review discusses L. P. Yakimova’s new monograph “A Story Within a Story As a Structural Unit of Leonid Leonov’s Poetics”. The researcher reveals parables within Leonov’s works of different genres. These works are the stories “The Small Man’s End” and “The Storm of Velikoshumsk”, the play “Untilovsk”, the novels “The Thief”, “The Russian Forest”, “The Pyramid”. L. P. Yakimova thinks that these parables are the most significant signs of expression of the author’s attitude in the text.
