Iron and steel production has huge importance in industrializing countries. Various sub-plants have been located in the iron and steel plants. The significant equipment of those plants is the blast furnaces where iron ore is melted and processed. The blast furnaces need high pressure combustion air to perform burning process and the turbo blower supplies this combustion air. Turbo blower is mainly a kind of power plant and a compressor is connected to the turbine section for providing high pressure air. In this study, an exergy analysis of a power plant that uses waste gasses, such as blast furnace gas and coke breeze gas, as a fuel during production process in integrated iron and steel plants was performed. Exergy destructions and efficiencies were calculated for all equipment. At the end of the study total improvement potential of system and general system efficiency were calculated as 54717.427 kW and 27.6 % respectively
