Advances in Clinical Pathology: what is Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (HIAE) carrying out?
Abstract
The role of the Laboratory, in the present moment of technologicaladvancements, is most important within the concept of the “stateof the art” Medicine, however, it must be always integrated to theclinical principles of Medicine. Here are discussed different aspectsrelated to the concepts of quality as applied to the Laboratory andthe various methodologies that are now being used. They must beupdated permanently because if a Laboratory does not fit in theprogresses of Science, that are many and rapidly evolving, it willsoon loose its importance in the Institution to which it belongs.
