The structure of the title compound, C11H19NO4, contains two crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. Both adopt the same conformation and they form pseudosymmetric R22(8) dimers via two N—H...O hydrogen bonds. The dimers are linked by weak C—H...O interactions and are stacked in columns along the a axis.
