Project management information systems and their impact on project success

Abstract

In this work, information management systems of project management (PMIS) to as are considered. The need to consider these systems is due to the need for the Russian economy for the implementation of new business projects. To use the organization’s (PMIS), first of all, it is necessary to purchase a software package designed to simplify the management decisions. The designation of the positive impact of the work of these systems on the success of the implementation of a new project will increase the interest of the organization in their use in the planning, organization and control of projects. The purpose of this study is to conduct an assessment of the quality of the (PMIS), currently used in organizations, and the study of their influence in the adoption of a managerial decision.
