Sufi and Civilization: The Contribution of Sufism to Civilizational Peace

Abstract

Sufi education in Islam aims to mature people in terms of belief, action and manners. In this education process, which is called "seyr wa suluk", perfection is essentially realized through the emergence of virtues hidden in human beings. The aim of this paper will be to express the contribution of individuals to the peace of civilizations with the virtues they acquire as a result of Sufi education, taking into account the main theme of the symposium, "Dialogue Among Civilizations".
