Convolutes of the Pochaiv Cyrillic old-printed books with the publications of other printing houses in the light of book culture in Ukraine in 18th ct.: the formation and functioning (On the example of the copies from the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine collection)

Abstract

Convolutes of the Pochaiv Cyrillic old-printed books bound with the publications of other printing houses are analyzed. The specific of the formation of the convolutes of Cyrillic book publications and their fragments is determined. The mechanisme and rules it the formation of this type of convolutes are found. The particular attention is paid to Augsburg engravings of the 18 ct. embedded in the Pochaiv Book of Hours.
