The night representation, sign of modernism in the inter-war architecture

Abstract

The architectural implementation of lighting advances in the 20s allowed the development of unexplored aspects by the most avant-garde architecture of the moment. By selecting and analyzing some particularly meaningful architectural drawings of the inter-war period, a retrospective research is focused on several key aspects linked to modernism, which become more evident thanks to the night graphic representation.
