MORBIDITY OF CHILDREN IN THE FIRST YEAR OF LIFE FROM REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA (A RETROSPECTIVE STUDY)
Abstract
Child health is one of the most important indicators of the welfare of society and the state. It is a retrospective study on the health of children of the first year of the Republic of Moldova. Based on the statistical data taken from the website of the National Public Health Agency, the incidence of children of the first year of life in the Republic of Moldova was studied, during the years 2009-2018. It has been found that the highest rates have been recorded in respiratory illnesses. The second place is infectious and papillary, followed by congenital malformations, deformations and chromosomal abnormalities. On the 4th place there were diseases of the digestive system. The 5th place belongs to the diseases that originate in the perinatal period.
