In the present study samples of Murrah bull’s frozen semen, distributed in collaborate herd, were evaluated in order to evaluate the correlation between the fertility /motility and fertility/spermatic speed. Motility was evaluated subjectively and expressed in percentage and the spermatic speed was calculated taking into account a distance of 200μ and the time in seconds taking to cross this distance. Semen fertility was evaluated by the conception rate obtained at first service. Fertility coefficients of correlations were 0.315 and 0.432 for motility and spermatic speed, respectively. The results revealed that motility exam associated to spermatic speed allows predict the semen fertility with higher security.
