Selected issues of formation and development of social unit ukrainian constitutionalism cossack times

Abstract

This article attempts to explore some aspects of the formation and development of the social component of Ukrainian constitutionalism in Cossack age. Revealed some internal and external, subjective and objective reasons that made it possible for Ukrainian Cossacks in the study period to become the social layer that could not only internally understand the need for own national state and constitutional values, but also to defend them in the fight both from internal and external enemies.
