Spermogram parameters in the summer and autumn 2010, compared to those in 2007–2009

Abstract

We studied semen parameters of 1600 men with reproductive disorders consulted in July – October 2007–2010 to investigate possible influence of enormously high summer temperature in 2010 year. We revealed that the percent of spermatozoa with normal morphology in men with semen concentration 15–130 mln/ml was reliably lower in 2010 year.The percent of spermatozoa with normal morphology and progressive sperm motility (a + b) in 2007 were reliably higher than in other years.
