As the reserve force and sustained driving force of the rural teacher team, rural young teachers bear the heavy responsibility of revitalizing the development of rural education. Sense of gain is the key to enhancing the professional attraction of the rural teacher profession and strengthening the education belief of rural young teachers, and it is also the fundamental guarantee for building a high-quality rural teacher team. An index system of rural young teachers' sense of gain is proposed in this study through modifying Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process. The system consists of 3 primary indicators including sense of gain in "survival guarantee", "relationship belonging" and "self-development", 7 secondary indicators including sense of gain in "material economy", "policy guarantee", "social interaction", "public culture", "social prestige", "professional growth" and "professional achievement", and 28 corresponding tertiary indicators. On this basis, this research puts forward the ways to improve rural young teachers' sense of gain: 1) improve material security, and promote differentiated teacher incentive; 2) integrate relationship belonging, and satisfy humanized social needs; 3) continue self-development, and shape rational future expectations.
