The statistical data collected from the archives of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations was used to assess the territorial susceptibility of the Republic of Moldova in the administrative-territorial aspect by heavy rains from the warm half-year caused by fl ooding and landslides. As an indicator for assessing the exposure of the territory of the Republic of Moldova to the specifi ed risks during the period under study were presented the values of material damage caused in the administrative and territorial context by each risk. Based on the calculated losses for the studied risks, maps were drawn showing areas with varying degrees of exposure of the territory of the Republic of Moldova, in relation to each of these risks, expressed by the magnitude of the damage caused. Also on the basis of summing up the losses determined by the risks studied, a comprehensive map was developed which refl ects, in an administrative-territorial context, the magnitude of the total damage of the risks studied and the proportion of damage caused by each risk.
