Information System of Assistant Technology in Bogotá

Abstract

This project has the objective to create a systemof information that includes and manages datarelated to devices of Assistive Technology availablein Colombia and its main characteristics; the projectis directed to people with disability, their familiesand professionals in been the rehabilitation area.For the development of this project four phases have settled down: Bibliographical revision,Gathering of Information, Development ofEngineering of the Software and Amplification ofthe study at National level.At the moment the project is at the phase II,during the time of investigation the resultsobtained have been tools for gathering ofInformation, Instructive which explains thecorrect form for obtaining this tools, home visitsto orthopedic facilities, analysis of diverseproducts and development road of user’s wayaccess.
