El bestiario monstruoso de Alexis Figueroa y Claudio Romo en Fragmentos de una biblioteca transparente: hacia una comunidad post-humana
Abstract
The article proposes a reading of Fragmentos de una biblioteca transparente (2008 and 2018), with texts by Alexis Figueroa and illustrations by Claudio Romo, based upon the character of the monster. From the perspective of a critical post-humanism and starting from the category of the bestiary, the manuscript analyses the monstrous lives present in the work, firstly based on a disjunction regarding anthropocentrism and secondly considering an inter-species fusion. The latter allows to conclude that the monster is the sign of a communitarian ethics of consideration.
