La didactique des langues étrangères à l’ère de l’économie de la connaissance : quelles incidences sur les sujets, les enseignements et les apprentissages ?
Abstract
Contemporary educational systems are affected by an economic conception of knowledge. The teaching and learning of foreign languages is affected by the use of utilitarian and managerial understandings of the concepts of "language need", "competence", "autonomy" or "motivation", which is affecting the subjects who learn and teach and the knowledge themselves. We appeal here to a criticism of the managerial rationalization of the relationships between subjects and languages, and invite to rethink them towards a problematic of linguistic subjectivation.
