From The Library Stock 017. Kalugin Alexey Ivanovich to “the last package” by Sergey Gorbatykh The article focuses on the person of Alexey Ivanovich Kalugin, who, by cutting and pasting notes from various emigrant magazines, created in Argentina from 1947 to 1982 eighty‑four albums, among which four albums Necropolis [«Некрополь»], two theme albums The Church [«Церковь»], three albums Icons [«Иконы»] and then Argentina [«Аргентина»], Writers [«Писатели»], Moscow [«Москва»], Russia [«Россия»] and more. He handed them over to A. I. Solzhenitsyn, then in charge of The All‑Russia Memoir Library in Vermont. In 1996, the Solzhenitsyn married couple donated the albums‑brain‑ children (as Kalugin called them) to the Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of the Russian Abroad. This and other episodes from Kalugin’s life found their reflection in Sergey Gor‑ batykh’s journalistic essay “The Last Package” [«Последняя посылка»].
