"Ecological outlook" as a category of social ontology of the contemporary history

Abstract

Global problems of modern age and in particular the ecological crisis require thorough examination; they are considered as social events and consequences of transformations of people outlook. The main aim of the study: The dialectic understanding of the qualitative infinity, inexhaustibility and coherence of the world leads to an inevitable conclusion that no concrete historically limited outlook can reflect adequately and systemically the place of a man in reality. On the other hand, the antagonism of opposite types of outlooks helps define each part of views, create the preconditions for a quantum leap which leads to historically new paradigm - ecological outlook. The methods used in the study: The historical method allows us to see this process (the choice of the category «ecological outlook») and to express it as a category of social ontology of contemporary history pointing at its dynamic development in time and space; and all-philosophical laws show the category evolution, functioning, links, determinants and content. The results: The article proves the choice of the category «ecological outlook» and expresses it as a category of social ontology of contemporary history.
