Development of the coal industry of Chinain the context of modern threats
Abstract
The article describes the formation of the coal industry complex in China and the current state of the industry, which exists in the tough realities of the conflict between growing of the country's economy, which requires a strong energy base and problems, China is facing as a result of excess coal consumption. While analyzing the coal industry in China, we find it necessary to show the reasons of industry's stability, current trends and development prospects, as well as problems that China faces because of the prevalence of the coal industry in China's fuel and energy complex. The purpose of our article is to give a full description of the Chinese coal industry and to outline the trends of its future development. The main question raised in the article is the course the government of PRC set out for the development of the coal industry and, which have been already made according to that course. The author notes that despite the course of reducing coal usage and increasing the usage of oil, natural gas and alternative energy sources in FEC of the country, however coal is still playing and will play the leading role in future.
