O que Está Aquecendo Nossa Terra? O Calor Entre o Antropoceno e a Colonização

Abstract

The debate around the concept of the Anthropocene has been broad and dynamic, making it possible to go beyond the limits of the different scientific areas in a dispute of conceptual, political, and ontological paradigms, in the search for alternatives to other possible paths that consider the different expressions of life on the planet. In this sense, the objective of the discussion is to present and reflect on the problems and limitations of this concept and indicate, how the racial event, colonization, and the processes of heat production are generators of global capital, through which environmental devastation and the expropriation of indigenous peoples, lands, and natural resources occur. To this end, we intend to articulate in a way that advocates the global understanding of these issues. We bring intuitive interpretation of fractal thinking, making it possible to unite the scientific with the social-political.
